Thinning Hair? Scalp Microneedling in Adliswil, Zürich
Your hair deserves a plan that starts with you. A wider-looking parting, a more visible crown or changes around the hairline can leave you wondering where to begin. At Luksus Beauty Studio in Adliswil, our scalp microneedling service starts with a conversation about your concerns, a scalp suitability check and a clear agreement about the area being treated.
If you are searching for hair restoration near Zürich, it helps to understand what each treatment can realistically offer. Scalp microneedling may form part of an appropriate hair-loss care plan, but it cannot promise regrowth or replace a diagnosis. Here is how our treatment options work, what they cost and what to ask before booking.

What is scalp microneedling?
Scalp microneedling uses a device with fine needles to make controlled micro-punctures in the scalp. It is different from scalp micropigmentation, which deposits pigment to create the appearance of hair. Microneedling does not add hair or transplant follicles.
Clinical studies suggest microneedling can help some people with hereditary hair loss, particularly alongside established medical treatments such as minoxidil. However, research protocols vary substantially, and there is no single ideal depth, frequency or treatment course for everyone. A cosmetic appointment should be considered in the context of your individual scalp condition and any medical advice you have received.
One zone, two zones or whole scalp: what is included?
A treatment labelled simply “scalp microneedling” does not necessarily include the entire head. At Luksus, we make coverage explicit before starting. We use three zones when planning targeted appointments: the front hairline including both temples, the crown, and the central parting.
One zone is a focused appointment for one of these areas. Two zones allows a combination, such as hairline plus crown. Whole scalp covers the front hairline and temples, central parting, crown, and suitable hair-bearing sides and back. We agree and document your treatment map at consultation; irritated or unsuitable areas are excluded.

Scalp microneedling prices in Adliswil
Our prices are per session and include the consultation within the appointment, scalp preparation, treatment of the agreed area, suitable scalp care selected for the protocol and written aftercare. Appointment lengths include preparation and discussion, not continuous needling time.
Coverage | Appointment | Price per session |
One Zone | 45 minutes | CHF 180 |
Two Zones | 60 minutes | CHF 240 |
Whole Scalp | 75 minutes | CHF 300 |
Your whole-scalp appointment costs CHF 300. Any optional home-care products are discussed and quoted separately. You do not need to commit to a package before understanding whether the treatment is suitable for you.
What happens during your appointment?
1. We discuss your concerns
We ask about the pattern and duration of thinning, your scalp condition, medication, allergies and previous treatments. We discuss what you hope to achieve and whether medical assessment should come first. With your consent, consistent photographs can help document changes over time.
2. We agree the area and prepare the scalp
You choose the coverage that matches the agreed plan. The scalp is prepared and the hair is sectioned so the intended areas can be treated systematically. A fresh single-use cartridge is used for the session.
3. Treatment is adapted to your assessment
The treatment follows the device and product protocol appropriate to the service. You may feel prickling or discomfort. Tell us immediately if you experience sharp or increasing pain; more pain is not a sign of better results.
4. You leave with clear aftercare
We provide written advice covering washing, hair products, activity and sun exposure, together with an individual review plan. Temporary redness, warmth or tenderness can occur, and recovery varies.
Can microneedling help hair growth?
It may help selected clients as an adjunct to treatment for diagnosed hereditary hair loss. That does not mean every type of shedding will respond, or that a salon treatment reproduces the results of a clinical study. We cannot guarantee new growth, a specific increase in density or a fixed timeline.
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends speaking with a dermatologist first because microneedling can worsen some conditions. Sudden shedding, round bald patches, persistent itching, pain, redness or signs of scarring should be medically assessed before you book.
What about exosome hair serums?
Exosome-labelled scalp products are attracting interest, but their formulations and evidence are not interchangeable. The label “exosome” does not prove that a particular serum will regrow hair or that it is suitable for every microneedling device and depth. At consultation, we discuss suitable products, realistic expectations and the treatment plan before you decide.
Frequently asked questions
Does scalp microneedling hurt?
Some prickling, tenderness or discomfort is possible. Sensation varies with the scalp, device settings and technique. We do not promise a pain-free experience, and pain or bleeding is not a measure of success.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no universal number. Suitability, treatment spacing and review points are discussed individually. Hair changes take time to assess; an immediate fuller appearance is not evidence of new growth.
Can women and men book?
Adults of any gender can enquire. Suitability depends on the cause of the concern and scalp assessment rather than gender. Medical assessment may be recommended before treatment.
Can I use my normal hair-loss medication?
Tell us what you use before booking. Your prescriber should advise on when to pause or restart medication around treatment. Do not change prescribed treatment based on a cosmetic appointment or a general online guide.
How should I prepare?
Ask for the preparation instructions when booking and disclose recent colouring, scalp irritation, medication and other procedures. Avoid applying new or irritating products before your appointment. If your scalp is sore, broken or infected, contact us before attending.
